No Hassle Returns and Exchanges

Any Mountain Mama purchase may be returned for refund or exchange for any reason whatsoever. All Mountain Mama garments have a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. If you damage a garment through wear and tear, we'll be happy to repair it at a reasonable charge.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for refund/exchange turnaround, including shipping times.

For a refund:

  • Return your purchase within 30 days of the original order date.
  • Include your receipt.
  • All garments must be returned in an unworn and unwashed condition with tags still attached.

For an exchange or store credit:

  • Return your purchase within 90 days of the original order date.
  • All garments must be returned with tags still attached, and in an unworn and unwashed condition.

For repair at a reasonable charge:

  • Contact customer service for assistance in returning a garment for repair.

For your convenience, you can return items using the Eco-Enclose mailer in which your order arrived.  Please be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. Mountain Mama cannot replace items lost or damaged during return shipment. 

 

When returning an item please include a note with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Daytime telephone number
  • Order number
  • Return address (if it differs from the address to which we sent your original order)
  • What you are returning and why (your feedback is crucial to the process of perfecting our garments)
  • Whether you are returning for an exchange, refund or credit
  • If you are exchanging an item, please tell us what style, size, and color you want as a replacement

Returns Assistance

Mountain Mama Returns Assistance can save you a trip to the post office, and make returns even more hassle free!  Just contact customer service, tell us what you are returning. If you are shipping from the U.S. and using the Eco-Enclose mailer to ship your return, we can email you a prepaid shipping label.  Return shipping costs can be charged to the credit card used for your original purchase.  You can choose whether or not to insure the package, but we highly recommend insurance as we cannot replace lost or damaged packages, even if we help facilitate the return.

Sale Price Policy

If an item you purchase from www.mountain-mama.com goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, we'll gladly refund the difference as long as your purchase is the same product number, size, and color as the sale item. Just send an email to christine@mountain-mama.com with the confirmation number for your purchase. Refunds may take up to 7 days to post to your account. Sale prices may not be combined with any other promotions or coupon codes. If a coupon code is entered while a sale is on, we will honor the lowest of the two prices. Purchases made after a sale ends are not eligible for a price adjustment. Items purchased from independent retailers should be returned to the shop where they were bought.
